posted in Cats In the News | No Comments »

There’s a new pixel ad company on the block—with a unique twist. For the first time ever, businesses in the pet industry can achieve worldwide sales, national sales, new product marketing and international network marketing utilizing Pixel Pet Expo’s ad service.Mesa, Arizona (PRWEB via PR Web Direct) April 25, 2006 — Pixel Pet Expo is on the cutting-edge of international pixel ad marketing. The whole concept of pixel ads for pet companies is unique. It offers both the established company and the innovative new product company a fast and easy way to enter the global pet market using one simple ad.“One of the biggest trends we are seeing in companies is for global sales,” says Brad Brimhall, co-founder of Pixel Pet Expo. “By providing pixel ads specifically for the pet industry, the international consumer of pet products enjoys one-stop shopping for the latest in pet innovations and breakthroughs.”Pixel Pet Expo has opened the door for any pet-related business to ride the wave of Internet technology to obtain world-wide exposure without the expense associated with traditional means of advertising. Ads as small as 10×10 pixels can give a pet-related business international reach to its target customers for as little as $100.00.Launched in 2006, Pixel Pet Expo is expected to fill the demand for Internet exposure for companies in the pet industry—by linking directly to a company’s website from an Internet customer in another part of the world.

Lassie and Morris the Cat Receive First StarPet AWARDS

posted in Cats In the News | No Comments »

Bash Dibra’s first StarPet Awards given to Lassie and Morris the Cat.

(PRWEB) May 26, 2006 — The StarPet Awards, Bash Dibra’s pet versions of the Golden Globes or the Oscars for dogs and cats are based on his book “StarPet.” This year’s recipients, Lassie for the StarDog Award and Morris the Cat for the StarCat Award, appeared in person to accept their awards at a Bide-A-Wee Gala in May during National Pet Month.

Lassie is America’s ‘Top Dog.’ Since her film debut in 1943 with Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor, she has appeared in ten motion pictures, on radio and TV shows, and has established the emotional bond for generations of children and families as one of the most enduring figures in the entertainment world.

Morris the Cat began his career in 1968 when 9Lives® Cat Foods discovered a lonely tabby in a Chicago Animal Shelter. He had style, he had personality, and he had what it took to be dubbed ‘Morris.’ This lonely tabby was soon the focus of the entire nation when he began appearing in the 9Lives® TV commercials as “Morris the Cat.” From then on, he became the most recognizable cat in the world.

In his “StarPet” book Bash expresses the belief that there is a Lassie or a Morris in your pet, and with love and proper training you can make your pet shine like a ‘star.’

Bash is an animal behaviorist, and a celebrity dog trainer — he’s trained pets of stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Basinger, Ron Howard, Martin Scorsese and Alec Baldwin. He’s also a renowned author of six books and a video, “Teach Your Dog to Behave; Dog Training By Bash, DogSpeak, CatSpeak; Your Dream Dog: A GUIDE TO CHOOSING THE RIGHT BREED FOR YOU,” StarPet, “How To Make Your Pet A Star,” and a video and DVD “TEACH YOUR DOG TO BEHAVE.” Additional information on Bash is available on his website at www.starpet.com.
